As a customer for 10 years of Easy Auctions Tracker, who closed in 2022, I was looking for an amazing software program that would mirror the simplicity and ease of use. After trying other “comparable” programs I was very dissatisfied until I came across MyCostPro. After viewing the site and how-to videos, I was sure this is what I needed! I ordered and paid for the subscription, and within 10 minutes, I was setup and downloading sales in MyCostPro. MyCostPro is very easy to use and navigate, and the admin team is VERY responsive to all questions and suggestions.
They have just made even more improvements to allow for better mileage tracking and expense records. They can even pull listing sales up to 90 days. NO OTHER program out there can do that, plus it’s still an off-line spreadsheet Excel file you save to your computer rather than a web-based app in the cloud. If you were a former customer of Easy Auctions Tracker, this is the ONLY program for you…especially if you’re like me and don’t like change. The format is similar and only takes a little while to learn. This is a great, complex program that can do all you need and more while retaining simplicity and ease-of-use, which I really appreciate.
I recommend MyCostPro to anyone who maintains an eBay store. You can see your expenses, fees, and profit/loss on each item you sell which is essential for running a successful business!

“MyCostPro Is Awesome!
A while ago I found Scott and his MyCost spreadsheets when searching eBay for a tracking tool to help manage selling on eBay . I was specifically looking for 2 features and I sent him a message. One of the features I sought was to be able to add expenses outside of eBay and PayPal to a tool so I could track my true expenses and profits. It has always frustrated me that what eBay calls “Selling Costs” in seller hub don’t include or allow the ability to include the many other expenses eBay sellers incur yet eBay uses these partial expenses to show us what they call our “Net Sales”. This gives sellers the impression that their profits are higher and expenses are lower. The reality is that our true expenses include the actual cost of the items we list and sell, other shipping expenses, packing/shipping supply costs, travel expenses to source or take items to shipping carriers and many other expenses depending on what and how we sell. Back when I contacted Scott he told me that I could add my expenses manually which I liked. The second feature I was looking for in a tool was it’s ability to automatically pull data from eBay to eliminate the time it takes to manually enter data. This was not a feature that was available with MyCost.
Fast forward to 2017, and the introduction of MyCostPro, wow! It offers so much more than everything I wanted in a tool! We have at our fingertips our customers information, sales and shipping data without having to enter a thing. We can customize our expenses by adding them and with the expense data pulled from eBay our true and accurate expenses and profits are calculated automatically and shown. We can create custom profit and loss reports. This in turn allows us the ability to see sales trends and focus on the things we sell that are more profitable and change or stop selling those that aren’t. To sum it up MyCostPro can give us a true depiction of how our business is doing. The greatness does not stop there though! How about one click to view all our active listings and the ability to change our inventory and prices on the fly. All this is done without ever having to log into eBay!

Second, DO THE 14 DAY TRIAL! We all have different needs based on how our eBay Stores and listings are set up. The trial test run is a great way to be sure that MyCostPro matches up with what you are trying to achieve. And believe me this program does way more than any others we have tried.
The downloads of sold, listed and unsold items directly from eBay into an effective spreadsheet in itself is priceless. But wait; there is more! This program has huge pluses of sales analysis dashboard, reports that help keep you guided and ready at tax time, expense tracking, and customer capture and tracking.
In our case, we run complicated sets of listings, so it was necessary for us to take the time and re-think our stock number system. During the 1-month period between the trial period and signing up for MycostPro, we setup a new stock # system and a way to link it to our inventory using the “SKU” setting in both eBay and MyCostPro. This Ability provided only by MyCostPro eliminated about 50% of our previous listing and inventory management actions. It took a bit of effort to set up, but once it was set up, it’s just a matter of maintenance.
If you are running an effective eBay business and are looking for a truly “PRO” system at a very good price, MyCostPro could be the answer! Do the Free Trial, test all the features and decide for yourself.

“Let me first say that I’m not a new-b to Excel spreadsheets, but I’ve never seen something so complex but also easy-to-use at the same time. I have found over the years in my time as an eBay seller, that other spreadsheets people created tended to have some of the features that I wanted, but not all. So I ended up creating a mashup of other people’s spreadsheet ideas. I also ended up creating a separate spreadsheet to track other expenses that were not tallied on that profit spreadsheet, and of course, I had to create my own reports. I found this cumbersome to keep up with, especially as I scaled up my business. But MyCostPro has saved my life. I’m in love with this macro-enabled spreadsheet. It has a beautiful interface, easy navigation, and literally all of the features that I wanted and more. It gets rid of the need to use the 2 separate spreadsheets that I used before, and it creates all of my reports for me…and there is a nice “print” button there too so you don’t have to worry about the formatting of your reports. This is great for tax time. I highly recommend this spreadsheet…every eBay seller and drop-shipper needs to have this tool in their arsenal!…Support is fast, friendly, and courteous!
